I SPIKE IT!
Lately I have been obsessed with studded accessories, mostly shoes! I did not see this trend coming, actually I thought studs are far behind, but then it just HIT ME - I NEED Sam Edelman studded flats "Adena"! There are many alike flats, but these are the nicest; random spikes, bit mess, feminine and not grungy. Love the classic shape of these flats, they will fit match almost any fashionistas favorite casual look and add a little edginess to it.
YEAH, back to 70's, baby!!! Jeffrey Campbell is in every fashion blogger top list with his retro signature heels. For me it wasn't a love at first sight and still I haven't figured out what attracts me to these funky, fashionable, but at the same time a bit ugly shoes! And these are second in my Spring wish list. Though I am thinking if it is going to be with or without spikes :) luv them all.

First thing that crosses my mind seeing Christian Louboutin's heels "Kryptonite" is song "Can I kick it" by A Tribe Called Quest. Sure only very unlucky ones would get a kick from a woman wearing these heels! Just look at them! They remind me a hedgehog. But elegant one! Curves of the shoe is unbelievable hot, the toe is like booooom! HOT!
NOTE: Please don't overdo with spikes! You might look like a walking superhero "SPIKE" who kills bad guys with shoes ;) So I wouldn't suggest you Barbaras Gongini's spiked pumps:

Spring 2012
This spring TOP color trend is white from head to toe. Perhaps after cold vintner it would be really nice to drop off coats and gloves, and begin a fresh spring/summer season! My pick from latest fashion shows is Versace three outfits above which I absolutely love! Fabrics and cuts are wonderful, some skin visible, but still looks elegant.

Hipster FRIDA KAHLO
This amazing artwork belongs to artist Fab Ciarolo. In some latest paintings he reflects recognizable people as hipsters, my favorite of them all is Frida Kahlo. I guess this is how I imagine her if she lived nowadays. Luv it!
Fad Ciarolos work manner is hipster"ish"all over and I love how he found his personal touch by using all rules of the subcultures color use, signs and style.

LOOKING FORWARD “JUN 9”
A month ago I found out about new upcoming brand “Jun 9” and I decided to share this with my international readers, cause THIS IS HOT HOT HOT!
The founder of the shoe brand is Andris Runcis, a mechanic and bank employee. As he explains, the idea of making new shoe designs came up from his and his girlfriends, Kristine, discussion about the process of making shoes and how you get them into stores or on catwalks. The interest didn’t leave them, so Kristine applied a collage in England to study shoe design, but as it appeared, professors were not too keen on sharing their secrets of making the shoe. So after she got back to Latvia, Andris found a shoe master and began taking lessons from him. After a year of studying, he got popular at Latvian social network www.frype.com with his shoe designs, but actually the only lucky ones who own “Jun 9” shoes yet, are their friend. As Andris says, this is the best way to test his shoes, because friends wont bring them back in case something is not done good, but still everything is great and nobody complains.
Brand name is under the question, because “Jun 9” is only temporary name till he comes up with something more international. “Jun 9” is Andris bithday date.
I love the men’s shoe design. Models are eye-catching and I think that this brand is going to be huge one day. Wishing Andris and Kristine best of luck and looking forward first models to buy at shop Paviljons (Riga) soon.

VIRTUAL VALENTINO GARAVANI MUSEUM
After world waving goodbyes to Valentino Garavani at 2008, when he retired from his fashion house, he comes up with new innovative project. Virtual Valentino Garavani museum can be downloadable as an desktop application at December 5.
It is going to be a 100’000 square foot of virtual space with over 300 dresses, 5000 images and 95 fashion show videos. Museum is going to be 3D archive of Italian fashion house. You will find even interviews, design sketches and press materials starting from 60’s, so everyone will get a chance to follow all Valentino events of five decades of his work.
Looking forward diving into virtual tour to check how it all began - I guess this will be one of the most exiting aspects of all project, so let’s wait for 5th of December when history of Valentino Garavani will open doors.
Here is a little sneak-peek of the museum:
For setting the mood I suggest to watch documentary movie “Valentino: The Last Emperor”:
